The percentage of adult patients with HF, HTN or CKD who are not prescribed an NSAID or COX 2 inhibitor. The CQM is aligned with a 2015 FDA Drug Safety Communication and corresponding NSAID label changes: “the risk of heart attack or stroke can occur as early as the first weeks.” Evidence from observational studies suggest that high risk patients (i.e. those eligible for the CQM) are at highest risk of harm in the first month of exposure.
