CPT Code Dashboard and Navigation Tool Announcement!

By Taylor Smith, Chief Customer Officer
April 24, 2015

At Find-A-Code, one of our main goals is to always listen to our customers' needs. One area we found we needed to improve was in at-a-glance information and navigation on each Code Information Page. That being said, we're pleased to announce the first step of our solution: the Code Information Dashboard!

You may have noticed that as of a few minutes ago when you visit a CPT code info page there are a series of boxes across the bottom labeling things like Fees, RVUs, Global Days, etc., with some corresponding numbers above them. So, when you just need high-level information quickly, you don't need to scroll down, locate, and expand the bar anymore to see it!

The other advantage this tool gives is that the Dashboard icons can be used for quick navigation: if you click on one of the boxes, for instance "RVUs," the page will scroll down to the RVU section and automatically expand it for the complete information (distinguishing Facility RVUs vs. Non-Facility RVUs, and displaying their component breakdowns).

This tool will become available for ICD9, ICD10, and HCPCS codes in the future, and we also plan to allow you to customize which items you'd like to see in your personal dashboard and give you the option to change the order if you prefer. Meanwhile, let us know how you like version 1.0 in the rating/comments section, and tell us if there's anything else we can improve to make your work life as smooth as possible!

Happy Coding,
