The Central Office has received a request for clarification of the advice published in Coding Clinic for HCPCS Fourth Quarter 2020, Pages 1-3, on breast reconstruction when compared to the advice published in CPT Assistant September 2022 Pages 18-19. Coding advice for breast reconstructions has evolved since the publication of Coding Clinic for HCPCS Fourth Quarter 2020.
